WHO WE ARE

Our home.
Our voice.
Our kuleana.

Keaukaha Action Network is a community-based environmental justice organization grounded in the people, places, and practices of Keaukaha and Panaʻewa.

Organized in 2013 as a community-based branch of the Keaukaha Community Association, KAN carries forward a commitment to community advocacy, health, safety, and the protection of Hawaiian homelands and resources.

We work through education, environmental advocacy, monitoring, organizing, research, testimony, and civic engagement. Community knowledge and lived experience belong in decisions affecting our ʻāina, kai, wai, ea, and well-being.
